Ron Johnson called Roe v. Wade “a real tragedy,” asked the Supreme Court to overturn it, and suggested people “can move” if they have an abortion ban in their state.

Wisconsinites don’t want politicians making health care choices for women. But without Roe, Wisconsin could reinstate its cruel abortion ban from 1849, which would strip folks in our state of their reproductive freedom and put doctors in jail. That is fundamentally wrong.

As the only woman in the race for Wisconsin’s U.S. Senate seat, Sarah has been loud, clear, and unwavering about her commitment to protecting abortion rights. She will never sit by and allow our reproductive freedom to be taken away.
