Protest is important—but Alexandra is running for Congress because we need more. We need real action from Congress, and we need it immediately.
If—likely, when—the Supreme Court reverses Roe, we need federal legislation already in place that guarantees our right to choose.
If we cannot change our current reality immediately, we already know what will happen. Right-wing legislatures in states across the country will ban abortion outright. Some states already have these sorts of laws pre-existing on the books.
