The Renew America Foundation has launched a special project called “Rise of American Radicalism” to track the growth of extreme rhetoric in our politics. What we’ve discovered so far is alarming:

• More than 230 candidates meet our definition of a “radical”

• 59 support or use the slogans/symbols of the QAnon conspiracy theory

• 225 believe there was widespread fraud in the 2020 election

• 22 attended the January 6th insurrection, with 2 admitting to entering the U.S. Capitol

• 9 have openly called for the use of violence

• 4 have used racist language

This is just the beginning of our ongoing research, but to ensure Americans have the most up-to-date information, we need your help. We are raising $25,000 to bring on research assistants to dig into the remarks, histories, and records of known radicals, as well as search for other potential radicals seeking public office across the country.
