He’s done it again. It appears that President Trump has once again failed to disclose legally-required information on his financial disclosure. Not only has President Trump refused to release his tax returns, but he can’t even manage to comply with required basic financial transparency.
This time, it looks like he failed to disclose the pro bono legal services he’s been receiving from his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, which should be listed as a gift he received. He also omitted a $50 million personal loan he appears to have made to his struggling Aberdeen golf course, which should have been listed as an asset.
CREW filed a complaint this week, calling for an immediate investigation into these violations. Read more here, and then share on Facebook, Twitter, or by forwarding this email.
This isn’t the first time President Trump has left off relevant information from his financial disclosures. CREW previously filed a complaint about his failure to disclose a liability to Michael Cohen for the hush money payments to Stormy Daniels, which led to a referral to the Justice Department.
And now he’s once again failed to disclose key information about his financial arrangements with another of his controversial personal lawyers. President Trump may be the least transparent president in history, and here at CREW, we’re going to continue fighting for the transparency and accountability Americans deserve.
Thank you,
