Assalamu'alaykum John,

This month, we give thanks to our valued supporters, donors, and all
those who work towards making justice possible.

As we wrap up 2019, we look back at our year with gratitude for the
ability to contribute to the continuous efforts to secure the rights and
liberties of Muslims in America.

Please don't forget about all those who continue to face and fight
injustice. Keep MLFA top of mind this Giving Tuesday and stay tuned for

Recognitions

 

 

CLCMA is pleased to announce that Research Fellow Waleed Naser has
passed the July 2019 Uniform Bar Exam in Tennessee.  We are excited to
have Waleed join CLCMA as a newly licensed attorney after graduating
from The University of Memphis School of Law and studying hard to pass
the bar. Waleed's research and writing skills will enhance our
Immigration Department's ability to vigorously defend CLCMA's
clients' constitutional rights.

Congratulations are also in order for Equal Justice Works Fellow,
Sponsored by Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, Najmu Mohseen, who has
also passed the July 2019 Texas Bar Exam. We are excited to have Najmu
join CLCMA as a newly licensed attorney after graduating from Texas A&M
University School of Law and studying hard to pass the bar. Najmu's
research and writing skills will also enhance our Civil Department's
ability to vigorously defend CLCMA's clients' constitutional rights.
