My mother was devastated when we learned many years ago that I had heart disease. She was there for me throughout my heart journey, until her own health failed. Today, I am a WomenHeart Champion and Chair of the Board of Directors.

I know my mom would be proud of the work we all do at WomenHeart to inform, support, advocate and care for women living with and at risk of heart disease. She would be proud of our commitment to close the gap to lack of understanding of women's heart health.
