Help us support those seeking to form unions like Starbucks workers!

Dear Friend,

Starting as a little coffee shop in Seattle founded in 1971, Starbucks is now the biggest chain of coffee shops. Advertising itself as an exceptional employer with generous benefits and a socially progressive workplace culture, workers gravitated toward the company in the beginning. However, many of the workers came to realize the fallacy of Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz’s words when the COVID-19 pandemic started in 2020. Schultz described Starbucks as, "a first-of-a-kind for-purpose company in which the value we create comes because our company is designed to share success with each of us and for the collective success of all our stakeholders."

Starbucks workers from coast-to-coast are coming together and organizing at more than 200 locations. Pulling out every page of the union-busting book, the coffee giant has gone so far as to fire organizers at locations in multiple cities. Jobs With Justice continues to support Starbucks workers as they fight for secure work schedules, access to sick time, and a livable wage. We will not stand down while Starbucks workers continue to call out those who dare interfere with their freedom to organize and collectively bargain. Help us continue this fight. Your donation will go straight to our hard-hitting and innovative campaigns that ensure we protect our workers, hold wealthy corporations like Starbucks accountable and help build an economy that puts people over profits.

We need your support. We still must raise $20,286 to reach our $25,000 fundraising goal by May 16th to ensure we have the resources necessary to support workers organizing for better wages and working conditions at Starbucks and beyond. Will you help us?

In Solidarity,
