Shareholder Rights are Under Attack — Again
Last year, the shareholder community beat back an attempt by Congress to protect corporations by hamstringing shareholder rights. Now the SEC is trying again, proposing draconian new limits on shareholders’ ability to engage the companies they own.
Challenging that determination to silence our voice takes time, effort, and a lot of resources — from people like us, who know the landscape.
We’ve been using shareholder resolutions to change corporations for good for over 27 years. We understand how shareholder advocacy works, for all of us — and what we’ll lose if it’s restricted or taken away.
