John: we now know that the U.S. Supreme Court plans to overturn decades of precedent and eradicate federal abortion rights. Sen. Chuck Grassley bears responsibility for what's transpiring. 

Sen. Grassley tried to erode reproductive justice throughout his career: he voted for abortion bans, including a constitutional amendment to overturn Roe v. Wade during his first Senate term. His crowning achievements, though, are Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh. 

As then-chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. Grassley was instrumental in blocking Senate consideration of President Obama's Supreme Court nominee, Merrick Garland, and then ramming through Trump-appointed nominees whose votes will overturn abortion rights. Just last month, he even bragged about his obstruction of our Supreme Court and rejoiced at Roe being overturned.

We cannot, and will not, let him win. Abby Finkenauer – a lifelong champion of reproductive freedoms – is running to defeat Sen. Grassley, and when she's elected, she will vote to codify Roe v. Wade into law so that the right to choose is protected.
