Almost 60% of business-to-business decision-makers responding to a 2021 BigCommerce survey say they are using headless commerce and plan to keep doing so, while another 29% aren't using it but are thinking about it. However, Forrester's Joe Cicman says that buyers should be aware of the differences between headless solutions, as well as their limitations.

Warehouse renters face low vacancies, high costs

Industrial real estate construction activity rose by 48% year-over-year in the first quarter, but the long-term increase in space won't immediately help warehouse renters, who are witnessing a 27-year low in industrial vacancy rates that averaged 4.7% nationwide and fell to 1.6% in Southern California, according to a report from commercial real estate firm Savills. Meanwhile, renters are facing sold-out space near ports, double-digit rate increases in top areas and a tight labor market that's pushing average advertised warehouse wages to just over $17 per hour in March, compared with just under $15 per hour in the same month a year ago.
