five core values of our organization. This year, they will also be tasked with selecting our new Executive Director.
We are particularly excited to celebrate that this is the first majority-female Board of Directors in Sierra Club history, and the Board with the highest number of leaders who are Black, Indigenous, or people of color (BIPOC). Cheyenne Skye Branscum will be the first Tribal citizen on the Sierra Club's Board of Directors.
Thank you to Brian Gomez for his service on the board this past year, as well as to the Board members whose terms are ending: Mike O’Brien, Oliver Bernstein, and Dave Scott.
