Associate Justice Samuel Alito’s leaked draft opinion revealed a highly disturbing blueprint - that the Supreme Court is poised for the first time in our history to eviscerate a constitutional right by overturning Roe v Wade.

This is not only deeply disrespectful of women — it will also have devastating impacts, especially on low income women and minorities.

Reproductive choice is personal, private and serious. We should trust women to make the best decisions for our bodies and must do whatever it takes to protect a woman’s right to choose.

I’m proud to have sponsored and voted for legislation to codify Roe. The need for this legislation protecting women’s reproductive health has never been more urgent. We must act immediately to preserve women’s rights over our bodies.

But, John, I can’t keep fighting for our rights unless I’m re-elected to Congress. Please support my campaign and this fight.
