What’s going on here? Haven’t experts been saying that Democrats are doing surprisingly well in redistricting, and that America is poised to vote on the fairest and most balanced congressional map in a generation?
Yes – but that was before Governor Ron DeSantis hijacked Florida’s redistricting process, drew his own maps, dismantled Black opportunity districts, and in effect gave 71% of the state’s congressional districts to the GOP!
Now fair redistricting is in jeopardy once again and we need your help to push back nationwide. Are you in?

In Florida and across the country, the NDRC is battling map manipulation with staff on the ground, a legal strategy, accountability campaigns, and support for Democratic candidates who support fair maps. And voters in Florida have filed a lawsuit challenging DeSantis’ map, joining voters in nine other states who are fighting gerrymandering in the courts!
