It’s clear that the battle to protect abortion rights is going to be waged in the states.

We can’t rely on Washington, DC — and here in Pennsylvania, the stakes could not be higher and the choices could not be more stark.

Look, we know that the Republican-led legislature will put a bill to ban abortion on the next Governor’s desk. And we know that the leading candidates for Governor on the Republican side would sign that bill into law.

I will veto that bill, and I will protect abortion rights for millions of women here in Pennsylvania.
