Growing up, my mom worked as a preschool teacher in East Orange and Newark to support our family.
My mom is an incredible educator. She’s spent years educating New Jersey students, giving them guidance, support, and a push in the right direction. And she showed me time and again the impact that compassionate, dedicated teachers can have.
I’m so grateful to her and to every single teacher out there giving their time and energy to educate and empower the next generation.
So, today, I want to say thank you to every teacher working to give young people a brighter future and promise you that, as your next Congresswoman, I’ll fight every single day to make sure teachers and students have the resources they need.
