Georgia and Texas are ground zero for protecting our democracy.
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and Texas Governor Greg Abbott have embraced my uncle’s Big Lie and have signed extreme voter suppression measures into law.
Enough is enough — it’s time for them to go.
Our path forward is clear: We MUST place pro-democracy candidates on the front lines in Governor’s mansions across the country.
Stacey Abrams and Beto O’Rourke have both been vocal advocates of defending our democracy and protecting the right to vote. Both are strong candidates with a REAL shot of winning, but they need our support to arm them with resources to defeat their far-right backed, extremist opponents.
It’s not only vital to making sure votes are fairly counted, but also to ensuring the will of the people stands unchallenged. Ousting both Kemp and Abbott from office would be an important step forward in our fight to safeguard our democracy.
