The Village of Oswego is excited to announce its 2022 summer event series [ [link removed] ] presented by Allied First Bank at Venue 1012. The outdoor entertainment venue, which opened in 2021 at 1012 Station Drive near Orchard Road, will host a combination of 17 ticketed and free events.

The season is loaded with opportunities to sing, dance, sip, eat and unwind with family and friends of all ages in Oswego?s own backyard. In addition to food trucks serving local fare, wine and beer will be available for purchase at select events. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to relax while celebrating long summer nights.

?Get ready to celebrate summer with tons of entertainment options for all ages,? Village President Troy Parlier said. ?Not only is Venue 1012 a great place to gather with family and friends outdoors, but this year?s outstanding summer season also offers endless opportunities to make memories with live music and family fun.?

The 2022 season features three categories of events: Weekend Headliners [ [link removed] ], Thursday Night Block Party [ [link removed] ] and Movies under the Stars [ [link removed] ].

Weekend Headliners feature Springbrook?s Oswego Pops Orchestra concerts, as well as top regional acts on select Saturdays with affordable ticket prices.

Free concerts with music from the 60s, 70s, 80s, Motown and pop favorites, along with a Back to School Bash, will be presented at Thursday Night Block Party events.

Movies Under the Stars rounds out the series with free family-friendly movies and lawn games including bags and giant Connect Four.

Tickets are now on sale [ [link removed] ] for four Weekend Headliner concerts: Country Bash on May 28 featuring Whiskeyfist; High Infidelity on June 11; Bad Medicine with opener Coverlicious on July 23; and on September 3, AC/DC tribute band AZ/DZ with opener The Pyromaniacs. Individual tickets cost $15 for ages 13 and up; $10 for active military, veterans and immediate family; children 12 and under are free. The Allied First Bank Summer Series kicks off on Memorial Day weekend with two special events planned to honor veterans. On May 28, Country Bash showcases three different country bands. The Tribute to Veterans event on May 29 presents two complimentary concerts with patriotic favorites by Celebration Brass and Springbrook?s Oswego Pops Orchestra.?
