Friend, I wanted to make sure you saw my email.
Roe v. Wade ensures women the right to choose, but there are many who want that landmark legislation to be overruled – including my Republican opponents.
While we’re fighting for women’s rights, my opponents are fighting to take them away. Just look at what one of my opponents said yesterday: "I am happy Roe v. Wade will be overturned. We need to protect the unborn."
They would want to place government mandates on private decisions and mandate pregnancies. I’m not sure that any of them have really thought this kind of a retrograde policy all the way through in terms of its likely implications.
Friend, I will always fight for you and your fundamental rights.
The difference between me and my opponents could not be more stark or urgent. But with the GOP preparing to spend millions to flip this seat, I need your help. Will you make a donation to our campaign right now so we can protect this seat from anti-choice Republicans and continue our fight?

Subject: Reproductive rights are human rights
Friend, today is a dark day for our democracy.
A leaked draft opinion shows that Roe v. Wade could be overturned.
If the Supreme Court overturns Roe, 23 states will immediately ban or restrict access to abortions, putting the lives of millions of Americans at risk. It has never been more clear – reproductive freedom in America is at stake.
As we watch the news unfold, here's what I know: We must strengthen the Senate majority and immediately take up and pass the Women’s Health Protection Act to codify Roe once and for all.
Reproductive rights are human rights, full stop. But the truth is my opponents don't feel the same way. They want to take personal freedoms and decisions out of the individual's hands. It seems they would want to place government mandates on private decisions and mandate pregnancies. I’m not sure that any of them have really thought this kind of a retrograde policy all the way through in terms of its likely implications. This is what we're fighting against in November, friend.
I won't give up on this. As a mom, teacher, and a veteran, I've spent my time in Congress advocating for women, making sure they have equity and the fundamental right to make their own health decisions. And I promise to continue that fight when I'm reelected.
There is work to be done,
Chrissy
