Alexandra Rojas is fighting to transform the Democratic Party and take on
the Democratic establishment as Executive Director of our organization. We
wouldn’t be the powerhouse organization we’ve become without her brave and
visionary leadership. Check out an excerpt from the piece below:

Much like the candidates she’s striving to put into office, Rojas—Latina,
a community college dropout who was working retail prior to working for
Bernie—doesn’t exactly fit the profile of a typical political operative.
She struggles sometimes with imposter syndrome, then reminds herself,
“That’s our whole pitch: Working people deserve just as much as
billionaires to run government.”

Remember, when Republicans and organizations like the DCCC attack Justice
Democrats, they’re attacking young progressive leaders like Alexandra who
are fighting to build the party and make it more accountable to voters
like you, not corporate donors.

Two years ago, we took a huge risk and started a brand new organization to
reclaim the soul of our party so that it represents us, not just
billionaires and corporations. And now today, we have seven JDs in
Congress, eight more on the ballot, and our brave Executive Director in
Vogue.
