Led by Rep. Stacey Plaskett, Rep. Ritchie Torres (NY-15), and Rep. Marilyn Strickland (WA-10), the caucus is committed to identifying and addressing the challenging economic and financial realities of Black innovators.
All across our country, there is an incredible number of talented Black founders, creatives, and innovators, yet trends and research show that bias is still a factor that prevents Black innovators from equitable footing, competition, and autonomy.
The Caucus on Black Innovation will dedicate itself to addressing such obstacles, and work toward advancing Black innovators, and therefore, cultivate American economic growth.
