Dear , As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday, I want to remind you that the Guiding Light Awards in Brooklyn, New York is just one week away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019! I’m inviting you to join us as we recognize four amazing women and some of the campaigns and organizations that are powering our movement and fighting for our democracy. |
This includes incredible performers like the Resistance Revival Chorus (RRC). Launched in the summer of 2017, the RRC is a collective of more than 60 women who join together to breathe joy and song into the resistance, and to uplift and center women’s voices. We’re honored to have them at our celebration this year. Check out their performances here. |
The evening will be unforgettable. We will be joined by exceptional leaders who continue to use their influence to shed light on issues of racial and economic justice, and drive forward-thinking progressive policies to advance popular democracy for all. Read about our honorees here. |

More than anything, CPD’s Guiding Light Awards is an opportunity to reinvigorate our commitment to fighting for a future where all of us have the freedom to thrive. I hope you’ll join me, the CPD Network and friends of our movement as we celebrate our honorees and their work to empower and activate the communities most impacted by injustice and inequality. Join me on December 3!
