John,

I grew up in a country where abortion was illegal.

It was *illegal* but still one of the top five leading causes of maternal
deaths.

So please, know that when I say we can’t afford to return to a pro-Roe
society, I really mean it.

Abortion is an essential component of health care. And just like all other
forms of health care, abortion services must be safe, legal and
accessible.

In order to do that, Democrats need to step up and pass the Women’s Health
Protection Act to finally codify Roe into law – even if that means
scrapping the filibuster.

And any Democrat who refuses to abolish an archaic rule like the
filibuster, especially when Roe is on the line, is failing us.

John, John will
always vote like a Democrat.

He will always put the fights of the people first, including the fight for
the right to choose. He hasn’t had to evolve or flip-flop on the issues.
His views when he first ran for this seat in 2016 are the same ones he has
today.
