Hi John,
The fallout from liberals’ radical criminal justice reforms and anti-police rhetoric continues to hurt the country. The 2021 murder rate is expected to be the highest in over two decades. During a recent 60 Minutes interview, FBI Director Christopher Wray revealed the tragic news that not only are murders continuing to increase, but the targeted murders of police officers were up 59% last year.
The Biden administration’s response to push more woke policies that target our police, not criminals, was both predictable and unfortunate. Woke criminal justice reforms are inherently soft on crime and will never reduce violence.
Some states, though, choose to back the blue. Conservatives in Minnesota and Georgia have passed serious legislation that addresses the issue of violence by supporting law enforcement in their mission to crackdown on the violent crime surge. The way to make our neighborhoods safer for families is to support our brave police officers and equip them with the tools necessary to restore law and order.
