We absolutely must protect the fundamental right to access safe and legal abortion – and not one of my opponents has pledged to protect this right.
Out of my fellow California Attorney General candidates, I am the only one who’s spoken in favor of expanding reproductive rights – and legal protections for abortion – in California. One of my proudest accomplishments this past year is my work with the CA Department of Justice to defend reproductive freedom and uphold Roe v. Wade.
It’s simple: reproductive rights are human rights, and we must actively fight to expand and protect access to safe and legal abortion here in California and nationwide.
