John,
Earlier this week, leaked documents showed that justices have already voted to strike down Roe v. Wade and plan to make it official next month. This all but confirms our worst fears are coming true.
Abortion rights are hanging by a thread and we need to fight back.

This fight is personal to me. My husband and I tried to grow our family years ago and experienced a miscarriage. I was still producing the pregnancy hormone, so we were presented with two choices: surgery or a shot that some consider a medical abortion. We chose the shot, and I am here today because of great healthcare.
But I was lucky. If this report is true, access to abortion will become even harder for low-income women and women of color—and the consequences could be life or death. We need women in Congress who will fight for abortion access every day. I am ready to be a champion for reproductive justice, and I am so proud to have been endorsed by EMILY’s List in recognition of my commitment to this crucial work.
My primary is less than a week away, so if you are able, please consider contributing to my campaign now to ensure that I can flip this seat blue and protect the bodily autonomy and privacy of women in Nebraska and across the nation.
Thank you for fighting with me,
Alisha
