John — since the horrific news broke that the Supreme Court is planning to overturn Roe v. Wade, thousands of members of this team have made their voices heard in the crucial fight to protect reproductive freedom. It's been incredibly powerful to see. But I'm still looking for another 32 people to speak out before midnight tonight, and I noticed your response is still missing.

Despite how deeply painful this moment is, we cannot give up. We must keep pushing forward — together. With the health care and lives of millions on the line, we need to let our anger and disappointment fuel our drive to keep fighting with everything we have.

This couldn't be more urgent, John: POLITICO is reporting that the Supreme Court will strike down Roe v. Wade, according to an initial draft majority opinion.

In a world without Roe, Congress is the last line of defense for reproductive freedom. We need to pass legislation that protects abortion access under federal law, and we need to pass it now.

The future of reproductive freedom comes down to what we do in this moment. I know this news is scary, but this isn't the time to grow disheartened. This is the time to fight with everything we've got — and it's going to take all of us fighting together, side by side.
