John – you’ve probably seen what’s happening in the United States regarding Roe v. Wade, the landmark Supreme Court ruling which effectively legalized abortion across the country. While a leaked draft opinion suggesting Roe v. Wade may be overturned is deeply concerning, we must remember that it is exactly what it is – a draft opinion, not law. Right now, abortion is still legal across the US.
A final vote on this is due in the coming months, and we urge the Supreme Court to make the right decision – one rooted in dignity, liberty, and freedom for all of its citizens seeking safe and legal abortion care.
