Yesterday, I joined thousands of other demonstrators as we rallied to protect abortion rights and spoke out against the horrendous draft opinion from the Supreme Court that would overturn Roe v. Wade.
Let me be very clear. I will ALWAYS fight for reproductive rights and protect abortion access here in Massachusetts and across the nation. As your Attorney General, I will work to expand access and make sure that our Commonwealth is a sanctuary state for those who need abortion care.
Normally, you would be getting emails from me and my team about our signature filing deadline next week and all of the big things coming up this month ahead of the Massachusetts Democratic Convention in June.
We will be reaching out about that soon. But that’s not more important than fighting to make sure the highest court in the land does not strip away rights that will deeply harm millions of people.
Abortion is still legal. But that’s why it’s even more important to support the work of these abortion funds now ahead of any official decision.
