Last week, Start Early hosted its Annual Luncheon, and we couldn’t have been happier to have hundreds of new friends and faithful supporters of young children and families back together again to celebrate the power of early learning and care.
For those who joined us virtually, thank you for your patience as we navigated our first-ever hybrid, live event! We are excited to be able to share with you a complete recording of the event.

You can watch a full recording and recap of the event from Start Early President Diana Rauner.
Whether you joined us here in Chicago or virtually elsewhere, or if you tuned into the recorded event, we thank you for your support and commitment to young children, their families and those who care for them.
As the inspiring stories shared last week demonstrated, investing in quality early learning programs is a proven solution to addressing today’s unprecedented stress on families, especially those facing economic, social and community upheaval. ALL TOGETHER, we must foster resilience in our youngest learners through the reliable presence of nurturing, responsive relationships in their earliest years. Each of us has a role to play in support of this critical issue, whether it be the investment of personal time or financial gifts.

Thank you to the parents, early learning professionals and experts, including Dr. Bruce Perry—one of the nation’s leading researchers on social and brain development—for demonstrating how we can bring hope to children and families across the country, NOW and in the future. Thank you to Oprah Winfrey, who provided a special introduction of Dr. Perry, amplifying the power of hope and resilience to overcome trauma.
Thank you also to our generous sponsors, particularly our presenting sponsor LaSalle Network, who helped make this year’s program possible.
We were honored to serve as this year’s Annual Luncheon Co-Chairs, and we thank you for your continued support. We hope to see you soon!
