Dear Friend,

For many refugees and immigrants, the idea of delivering a baby in a new country can be daunting. The U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) supports refugee families through their pregnancies as they prepare for the arrival of their newborns. USCRI Albany, for example, helps refugee mothers by hosting meetings with a lactation nurse. During these meetings, women are given the opportunity to ask questions about what to expect before and after delivery.

A mother needs the support of her community, whether she's a first-time mom or of multiple children. This Mother’s Day, empower refugee mothers by donating ([link removed]) to USCRI in honor of a mother in your life. We will send your honoree a personalized Mother’s Day card showing that a donation has been made on her behalf. (Please follow the instructions below).

For any donations of $200 or above, your honoree will also receive a handmade bracelet (pictured above).*

Instructions:
* Go to www.refugees.org ([link removed]) , choose your gift, and click on “I would like to dedicate this donation to someone." Write down the honoree’s name and email in the spaces provided, complete your contact and payment information, and choose to Give. Your personalized digital Mother’s Day card will be sent on May 7, 2022.
* To send a bracelet to the person you are honoring, please add their US-based mailing address in the MESSAGE section on the donor page. Please make sure to submit your online donation by 11:59 PM Pacific Time on May 4, 2022 for delivery by Mother’s Day. Bracelets are available in limited quantities, so please donate now.
