Spending billions to keep the Postal Service's 230,000-vehicle fleet locked into fossil fuels means accelerating the climate crisis and putting the future of our kids and grandkids in jeopardy. And yet that's exactly what the Postal Service's current plan for buying new delivery vehicles would do.3

It doesn't have to be this way: The Postal Service's own Inspector General found that 98% of routes could already be served by electric vehicles and that EVs are much cheaper in the long run.4
