We need all hands on deck to protect peace & diplomacy

Hi John,

In case you missed it, we endorsed Congresswoman Katie Porter for her re-election in CA-47 a few weeks ago. NIAC Action is dedicated to helping Katie win her tough re-election campaign this November.

Why is it so important that Katie wins her re-election? Her district is home to one of the largest populations of Iranian Americans in the country. And, CA-47 is a swing district - we cannot afford to lose a pro-peace, pro-diplomacy leader like Katie Porter.

Can you chip in $47 to help Katie win re-election? With your help, we can expand our coalition of pro-peace leaders across the country who are not afraid to speak up for what's right.

Let’s break down what’s at stake: without strong leaders like Katie Porter in office, we will lose momentum in renewing the Iran nuclear deal and ending the backlog of visa applications for Iranians. We need to grow our coalition of activists and leaders who are ready to prioritize diplomacy and peace. Katie Porter has been an unfailing voice in our efforts to do just that.

Katie is a fierce advocate for Iranian Americans and all Americans who want to prioritize an equitable immigration system, peace, diplomacy, and civil and human rights. We proudly endorsed her in 2018 when she first ran for Congress, and again during her first re-election in 2020. Now, in 2022, the stakes have never been higher since she faces the biggest threat since she entered Congress.
