Friends -

Senator Sinema refuses to say she’ll vote to bypass the filibuster to protect a woman’s right to access an abortion.

So we thought it important to share what would happen in Arizona — her state — if and when Roe is overturned.

Arizona would institute a “near-total abortion ban.”

There’s a law on the books criminalizing those seeking abortions and provides for a minimum of two years and a maximum of five years in prison for anyone who helps a woman obtain an abortion.
An analysis by a team of data journalists at Stacker found that the average distance to an abortion clinic in Arizona would go from 17 miles to 247 miles.

Here is the truth:

We can either pass a law ensuring the health and safety of women seeking abortions … or not.

We can pass legislation expanding and protecting the right to vote for all Americans … or not.

We can pass President Biden’s Build Back Better agenda, turn the economy around, reduce inflation and have a chance in the midterms… or not.

Senator Sinema is one of two Americans who has the power to make it happen.

Or not.
