This is horrifying news, John. A crushing draft opinion written by Republican-appointed Justice Samuel Alito shows that the ultra-conservative members of the Supreme Court plan to overturn Roe v. Wade in the coming months, ending over 50 years of established precedent protecting our fundamental freedom to choose to have an abortion without excessive government restriction.

Roe v. Wade protects the lives and well-being of women everywhere. This historic ruling was not the start of abortions, it was the end of women dying from them.
