Familia,
At the historic impeachment hearings over the past two weeks, we've heard some astonishing testimony from more than a dozen non-partisan public servants.
These experts across the U.S. intelligence and foreign policy communities -- who have spent their entire careers working to advance our foreign policy agenda and defend our national security -- shared a deeply troubling and consistent story about how the President of the United States abused his power to advance his personal political interests.
The hearings are a potential turning point for our democracy, and they should be treated with the seriousness they deserve.
But one Texas official is doing his best to politicize the whole thing: Senator John Cornyn.
For the last couple of weeks, Cornyn has been tweeting and sharing some conspiracy theories and baseless arguments regarding the impeachment hearings.
Yet as Dr. Fiona Hill testified this past Thursday, "Right now, Russia's security services and their proxies have geared up to repeat their interference in the 2020 election. We are running out of time to stop them. In the course of this investigation, I would ask that you please not promote politically driven falsehoods that so clearly advance Russian interests."
Cornyn's rhetoric is nothing more than an attempt to distract us from getting the facts our leaders need by starting a baseless partisan fight.
Add your name, and tell John Cornyn he should focus on fact-finding and our national security instead of playing political games:

Regardless of the outcome of these hearings, Texans deserve representatives who are committed to finding the truth -- our democracy quite literally depends on it. And if impeachment moves forward to the Senate, John Cornyn has a constitutional duty to look at the facts and protect our democracy. Add your name to tell Sen. Cornyn that you take the impeachment inquiry seriously, and he should too:
