John, I'll get right to it: After winning his U.S. Senate primary last night, Tim Ryan is officially facing far-right Trump wannabe J.D. Vance in Ohio.
With the Supreme Court planning to overturn Roe v. Wade, it's more critical than ever for Democrats to defend the Senate so we can codify reproductive freedom into federal law – and The Wall Street Journal is calling Ohio's Senate race the most important race of 2022. That's why we need to do everything we possibly can to make sure Tim wins.

This race will be tough. J.D. Vance has the backing of a billionaire-funded super PAC and Marjorie Taylor Greene. Plus, Donald Trump just personally visited the state to support Vance and rally his radical right-wing base — launching a new wave of outside money and attacks.
But a recent poll showed Tim 1 point ahead of J.D. Vance, which proves that he has what it takes to win this critical battleground race. If Democrats win in Ohio, we're virtually guaranteed to hold the Senate, but with so much on the line, we can't take any chances.
