“WALZ: THE LAST LINE OF DEFENSE” - Minnesota Reformer

John,

I wish it didn’t have to come to this, but Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan are now the last line of defense for abortion rights in Minnesota.

Virtually every one of our Republican opponents has made it 100% clear that they will push to enact a Texas-style abortion ban if they’re elected – even though it’s against the wishes of the overwhelming majority of Minnesotans.

After the news hit Monday night, I called an all-hands-on-deck meeting to expand our early organizing targets because this can’t wait until October. Minnesotans deserve to know what the stakes of this election are right now.

Our fundraising team gave us a target of $50,000 by Friday to fund our revised plans – and as of this morning, we’re still less than halfway there.

John, missing this budget target isn’t an option if we’re going to protect reproductive freedom in Minnesota. If you can, will you pitch in $10, $25, $50 (or whatever works today) to help us make up the difference?

Thank you,

Nichole Johnson
