John – Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis may have signed his “extremely biased” (FiveThirtyEight) congressional map into law, but our movement isn’t taking it lying down!

Citizens and voting rights groups held protests. Democratic legislators staged a sit-in on the state House floor. Voters immediately filed a lawsuit with the support of our affiliate. And A.G. Holder called out what the GOP is doing:

“Republicans across the country tried – and completely failed – to gerrymander their way to a congressional majority. DeSantis has bullied the legislature into enacting a map that… draws Republicans an illegitimate and illegal partisan advantage... And it does so at the expense of Black voters in Florida who are being denied fair representation in Congress.

One thing is clear: This battle is NOT over. But John, the NDRC needs your immediate assistance if we’re going to challenge extreme Republican gerrymandering in Florida and across the country.
