John: The Supreme Court is poised to overturn Roe v. Wade in an appalling attack on reproductive rights – but the fight is far from over.

We refuse to have women treated as second-class citizens whose personal decisions are made by politicians like Marco Rubio, who has fought relentlessly against the right of Florida women to control their own destiny.

Let me be clear: I will always stand up, speak out, and fight to codify Roe v. Wade into law. But the midterm elections this November will determine whether Democrats have the power to do this.

If I win in Florida, Democrats are virtually guaranteed to defend the Senate majority and women’s reproductive rights.
