The draft majority opinion on Roe v. Wade obtained by POLITICO is a travesty.

When the final ruling comes down, it will instantly undo fifty years of settled law – and even beyond abortion access and reproductive freedom, Americans everywhere will face new threats to their civil rights.

So, the question is: What can we do?

Ultimately, we need to *explicitly* enshrine the right to abortion in state law and in the state constitution. 

But our first line of defense is keeping the Attorney General’s office out of the MN GOP’s hands. Every one of my Republican opponents has pledged to attack abortion access. They would love nothing more than to see a Texas-style abortion ban implemented here in Minnesota.

No matter what happens, I'll do everything in my power to defend a person’s right to abortion and reproductive freedom. If we're going to win in November, it's going to take an unprecedented grassroots effort. And we can't pull it off without you.
