This couldn't be more urgent, John: POLITICO is reporting that the Supreme Court will strike down Roe v. Wade, according to an initial draft majority opinion.

In a world without Roe, Congress is the last line of defense for reproductive freedom. We need to pass legislation that protects abortion access under federal law, and we need to pass it now.

The future of reproductive freedom comes down to what we do in this moment. I know this news is scary, but this isn't the time to grow disheartened. This is the time to fight with everything we've got — and it's going to take all of us fighting together, side by side.

I promise you this: I will be doing everything in my power to protect our most basic right to make our own decisions about our own bodies, but I need you standing with me. I'm counting on 15,000 people to add their voices with mine by midnight tonight, and I'm counting on you to be one of them?
