Late last night, a leaked draft opinion made it clear that the Supreme Court is looking to overturn Roe v. Wade , the landmark decision that enshrined women’s rights to make their own healthcare decisions nearly 50 years ago.

By reversing this decision, the Court would be interfering in private medical decisions that should be between a woman and her doctor — not the federal government. Reproductive care is healthcare, and should be accessible to all.

If the Court revokes reproductive freedom in this country, millions of women will be impacted and lose this fundamental right that stood for decades.

It’s hard to overstate how devastating the consequences of this decision will be for women all across this country. That’s why I’m recommitting myself to protect a woman’s right to make her own healthcare decisions now and always.

This fight isn’t over. It will be long and difficult, but I’m ready.
