John, this is horrendous news. If last night’s leaked U.S. Supreme Court draft opinion is true, Roe v. Wade is on the verge of being overturned.

This will be devastating for countless Americans, but let’s be clear: right now abortion is still legal, and this leak doesn’t change that — for now.

If the Supreme Court’s final ruling matches this leak, the fundamental right to abortion care will be undermined in dozens of states, and abortions will immediately become illegal in 13 states.
