xxxxxx,
This afternoon, I took part in a debate between Democratic candidates for Lieutenant Governor. If you didn’t have a chance to tune in, here’s what I said on stage:
“I don’t believe Georgians wake up thinking about the Lieutenant Governor. You are thinking about your families — Is my child safe and learning in school? Do I have access to quality healthcare, and can I afford the basics like milk, eggs, and gas?
You may not be thinking about the Lieutenant Governor, but you deserve a public servant thinking about you.
I have taken on Republicans and won. I have bills that passed through a Republican legislature. [...] I will get the Abrams agenda through the legislature and to her desk to improve the lives of all of us [... so] we can say: our children are getting a quality education regardless of their zip code; 500K more Georgians have access to quality healthcare; and the attacks on women's ability to make their own healthcare decisions, attacks on LGBTQ+ rights, and attacks on voting rights are behind us.
That’s why I am running for Lieutenant Governor and asking you to vote for Erick Allen on May 24th.”
Early voting has already started, and this is going to be a tight race. But you deserve a Lieutenant Governor who understands how to get things done and who spends every day working to serve our state.
Can you chip in $25 today to support my campaign?
