Friends, according to POLITICO, the Supreme Court has privately voted to overturn Roe v. Wade and is poised to officially strike it down within weeks.

This is gut-wrenching news, and I’m thinking of the millions of women across the country whose basic rights are now at extreme risk.

I’m also thinking about what we do about it. Without Roe v. Wade, the right to choose will vary greatly state-by-state. And I promise you this: For as long as I am Governor, we will protect reproductive rights here in Nevada.

We’ve seen states with Republican Governors launch attack after attack on reproductive health. We’ve seen patients traveling all the way to  Nevada — often driving through the night — for treatment because they can no longer access safe abortions and treatment in their home state.

The truth is, in this race, I am up against over a dozen far-right Republicans who will do everything in their power to make reproductive care harder to access in Nevada. And this campaign is a true toss-up — meaning we need to fight very hard if we’re going to keep Nevada blue.

Friends, this news has made the stakes of this campaign higher than ever. I would be so honored if you could pitch in to our campaign and help us protect women’s reproductive rights here in Nevada.

Together, we can and we will fight back against these attacks on abortion. Nevada is a pro-choice state — and we will make sure it stays that way.
