Dear John,
I urgently write to remind you that abortion is still legal.
Yesterday, on May 2, 2022, the whole world saw a radically extreme leaked draft of a legal brief that suggests the U.S. Supreme Court intends to shamelessly strike down Roe v. Wade. But this is not a signal that the fight is over. It's a signal that the time is now for us to loudly and proudly fight for our rights.

Let me be abundantly clear: Abortion is your right and abortion is still legal in the United States.
It is up to us to do what we can to ensure people receive the abortion care they need when they need it. Texas abortion funds have been supporting people in need of care, and our fight alongside them will continue no matter what devastating and precedent-breaking rulings may come from our nation's highest court.
Your activism and support is crucial in this crucial moment!

These vitriolic attacks have never been about life or morality. Far-right politicians continue to use our bodies for political power and control, and we will not let their agenda strip us of our rights!
Abortion is healthcare. Abortion is a moral good. Abortion should be our protected right, and we won’t stop fighting for it in the courts, in Congress, at the ballot box, and at the state legislature.
Join our movement by pledging to support and protect abortion access [[link removed]] , donating to your local abortion fund [[link removed]] , and using your vote every time you can to DEMAND that Congress immediately answer the call to codify the Roe ruling into law by passing the Women’s Health Protection Act.
In the fight,
