Hi John,
Since its construction began under the Trump administration, more than 450 miles of border wall were erected, bisecting a rich and unique natural landscape, and causing harm to wildlife in the process. The New Yorker's newly released article ([link removed]) and documentary, American Scar, show the unfortunate devastation firsthand.
Join me and my colleagues from Sky Island Alliance, Cuenca Los Ojos, and The New Yorker for a virtual screening of this short film, tomorrow evening, May 4 at 6pm MT. Following the viewing we will have a moderated panel discussion about the impact of border wall construction on border communities and the region’s water, plants, and animals with the film’s director, producer, and stars of the film. I look forward to seeing you there!
