Today is a dark day in our nation’s history as we learn from a leaked draft decision that the Supreme Court will soon strike down Roe v. Wade. We will have lots more to say in the days and weeks ahead—but right now, Texans need your help.

We know we join millions of you in heartbreak and anger at this egregious decision to destroy 50 years of precedent under Roe. Abortion has been around forever – this decision only brings abortion care back to the dark ages and criminalizes people for seeking autonomy over their own bodies.

In Texas, we’re no stranger to abhorrent attacks on reproductive care and abortion rights. It was only last year that the Texas legislature all but eliminated the right to an abortion in our state under SB8. And we know that this pending decision will only make matters much worse for Texans who need care.
