Dear John, ​

First, I want to thank Oregon Right To Life for once again supporting me with their endorsement in my campaign for governor, just as they have in each of my prior two successful runs for the state legislature. As a mother of three, and a leading candidate in this race with a consistent and unblemished pro-life record, you can count on me to continue standing up for our pro-life, pro-family values.

As the House Republican Leader, I brought Born Alive Protections legislation to the floor of the Oregon House, forcing Democrats to confront their indefensible position on whether a newborn infant has a right to life. I voted against Democrats’ extreme abortion-on-demand agenda - Oregon already has the most liberal abortion laws in the nation - and as governor, I will veto any future attacks on the right to life.

I’ll also work to make it easier for women to choose life by advocating for the support they need when it feels like the responsibility of motherhood is too much, and to promote adoption as the loving and lifesaving option it is.

I am grateful to have the support of Oregon Right to Life and the pro-life community in this election and I look forward to earning your vote in this month’s primary and in the general election this November.
