Last night, we learned that the Supreme Court is prepared to end the constitutional right to an abortion by overturning Roe v. Wade.
I know you’re angry, and I am too. I’m angry for my wife, for my daughters, and for the millions of Americans who could be left without abortion access if extreme-right legislatures so choose. This isn’t a distant reality – right now, 26 states are poised to move quickly to ban abortions once this decision is issued.
But you don’t have to have daughters or a wife as a man to be outraged: reproductive rights are fundamental human rights, and everyone should be able to make healthcare decisions without politicians getting in the way. And let’s be clear, overturning Roe will not stop abortions – it would just prevent people from getting the safe healthcare they need.
There’s no time to waste. The Senate needs to wake up and act swiftly to codify Roe. And if they don’t, after I hold PA-17, you better believe that I’ll fight in Washington to protect abortion rights and to get it done.
This is a reminder of how much is on the line this November, so today, I’m asking for your support to help win this race. If you’re able, will you chip in to my campaign today?
Thank you for your support.
Let’s keep fighting,
Chris
